    Terms and conditions

    Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms cover using this website and using our service. By using either, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

    Who we are

Fresh Start Car Leasing is a trading style of First Oak Capital Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 14170340, with its registered office at The Old Farm Barns, Lowlands Farm, Riversdown Road, West Meon, Hampshire GU32 1JS.

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 984955. You can check that on the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.

We are a credit broker, not a lender. We introduce you to a lender who may be able to provide a car on a lease. We do not lend money, we do not own the cars, and we are not party to any agreement you enter into with the lender.

    What we do

We ask you about your circumstances, look at your bank statements, and form a view on whether a lender is likely to be able to help you. If we think so, we pass your application on. If we do not, we tell you.

We are not independent. We work with a limited number of lenders rather than searching the whole market, so there may be deals elsewhere that we cannot arrange.

Our service is free to you. We never charge you a fee.

    What we do not do

We do not give advice. Nothing on this website, and nothing we say to you, is a personal recommendation or financial advice. We give you information so you can decide for yourself. If you want advice about your own circumstances, particularly if you are in an IVA, a debt management plan or any other formal arrangement, speak to your Insolvency Practitioner, your adviser, or a free service such as MoneyHelper or StepChange.

We do not decide. The lender decides whether to offer you an agreement, on what terms and on which vehicle. We can tell you what usually happens. We cannot promise an outcome, and nobody honestly can.

We do not guarantee acceptance. Any website that does is not telling you the truth.

    How we are paid

The lender pays us a fixed fee when an agreement completes. You pay us nothing, and the fee makes no difference to what you pay. Our How We Are Paid page sets this out in full.

    Using this website

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.

The information you give us must be accurate and complete as far as you know. Applications are assessed on what you tell us and on the documents you send, so getting it wrong wastes your time as well as ours.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful.

    The information on this site

Vehicle prices, availability, terms and mileage limits change. Everything shown is a guide and is subject to availability and to the lender's own terms at the time. Nothing on this site is an offer.

We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it always is, or that it will always be available.

    Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and layout of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view it, and print or download extracts for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, republish or use any of it commercially without our permission.

    Links to other websites

We link to other sites where we think they are useful, including free debt advice services. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

    Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, from information on it, or from a lender's decision. Any agreement you enter into is between you and the lender, on their terms.

    Your information

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it. Please read it before you apply.

    Complaints

If something goes wrong, please tell us. Our complaints page explains how to raise it, what we will do and how long it takes, and how to take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service if we cannot put it right.

    Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
