Email is not encrypted. Sending three months of bank statements as an email attachment means they sit unprotected on at least two mail servers and in two inboxes, and anyone who later gets into either can read them.

The upload on our application form is encrypted from your device to us. It exists precisely so you do not have to email anything. Please use it.

If you have already emailed documents to us, do not worry. Tell us and we will make sure they are handled properly.
